I can remember in the past where there were problems at Esporta Cookridge with showers not working etc and from time to time things still go wrong but they are fixed pretty quickly (and new showers installed 18 months ago).
I'd say there's a decent variety of kit and good availability of it. The staff are unobtrusive but knowledgeable and the building and grounds kept clean.
If I were to criticise it would be that the bar area is underused and as a result is frequently out of stock of certain drinks/foods but they make a good Costa coffee and again are always friendly.
Definitely agree on the surroundings - lovely.

The staff are very helpful and polite and the surroundings beat ANY healthclub in the region.
You will be hard pressed to find a club with such a wide variety of machines and also some very heavy dumbells.
On occasion the jacuzzi is closed for cleaning however the pool is always available and a good temperature, and the sauna and steam room always available too. Go through the day and it can be nice and quiet.

Dont know what that womans talking about everything works, hot showers, pool was not closed and great staff...maybe just a miserable split???

Cookridge hall esporta is a very nice club to be with the surroundings are beautiful and the staff are helpful and proffessional.
This club as mixed age and i never feel out of place.
Very well done to esporta at cookridge.

Do not recommend anyone to join this club. Very poor consistency of facilities in operation. Classes cancelled as no-show staff, cold showers, frequent closure of pool and or sauna. Despite being advertised as premium end club they put on a very shoddy show.
