I played this course on the 6th June 2007. The fairways and greens are in superb condition. The bunkers could do with some more sand in them and there are no rakes, but that is only because they keep getting pinched! As I've already said the greens are in superb condition but for some reason each green has two holes left in it! One with the flag in and a spare, why do they do this? There is a special deal on at the moment where you get unlimited golf, free use of the par 3 course and a bar meal, which is a ploughmans, Jacket spud or a brunch (Bacon, sausage, fried egg and beans), this meal can be taken before, during or after your round. You come back to the club house at the ninth green. All this for £14 midweek. I'm not sure if this deal carries over to the weekend but it might be worth giving the course a ring.

I play here at least once a week/fortnight, the course has come along well and has taken shape very well. I started to learn golf here and if you can get a low score here you can walk all over other courses. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the "winter warmer" they have going on at the moment is a great deal, bacon roll, coffee driving range balls and a game of golf for a tenner! This year the drainage has been at its best, and i will continue to play here for as long as im playing. Dont miss out on a good course

Course is now half tidy!! Though shame to see buggies still being used, bits of course well muddy, still it is nearly Xmas!!!! Much better than it has been though over the past couple of years, no cars burnt out on course. Gutted the cafe was closed though, screwed me for over a three quid for a cup of tea and a 'fry up' in the pro shop, no where near as good as the normal one. Still mate was charaged £5.00 for a pack of tees!!! All that aside would def. come and play again, give it a try. Shot 86 my best yet!!

A superb course, it has really come around in the last six months. it is a challenging course but a joy to walk around, you dont even have to walk with buggys just £10 a round! Special thanks to the green keepers hwo work hard to keep them in top condition. The staff in the pro-shop are very polite and helpful. And best of all its pay & play so it will appeal to the advanced player to a downrite begginer. dan.
