Very disappointed with our time at grannies heilan, not enough to do unless you like bingo. There is very little in the surrounding area unless you are willing to suffer a long drive. The childrens entertainment was limited and it almost looked as though they were killing time until the live cabaret acts. For a family with two children, one and six, we were put in the caravan nearest the ballroom and the volume of the PA made it difficult to get to sleep before midnight. The only plus side was the lovely beach and the charming village of Doroch.

Myself & my family have been coming here since 1999, as we live in Stafforshire it is quite a journey, however this is well worth it, we can hear the sea all night long and look at over the bay at the lighthouse & the lights of Glospie. My young daughter loves rock pooling & beachcombing on the clean attractive beach & in the evening is kept amused by Maxi & his friends in the clubhouse. Needless to say we have already booked up for Easter 2007 & may come again later in the year.
