Stayed here in tent with wife and 2 kids under eight. Once we paid were told to find our own pitch. Just one shower each (20p) for men and women. Wife had to wait half an hour to use, then only got a few minutes hot water. Nice countryside views, but part of the campsite being used as a scrapyard with old cars, caravans and vans. Woken at 11pm by vehicles coming in, and again at 5.30 am with vehicles going out. Liked the area, lovely villages to explore. Would definitely stay somewhere else next time.

you NEED a car/transport to stay here as it is literally in the middle of nowhere. the facilities have not been updated for years - you need to pay 20p ontop of the camping cost to have a shower. the shower machine only takes 20p pieces. the shower only lasts 2mins. you are NOT guarenteed a hot shower - i had a weekend of freezing showers. there is only one shower for men and one for women. its an ok place to stay, but i would spend a bit more and stay somewhere where the facilities have been updated in the last 30years.
