Having just returned from a glorious 8 weeks in our caravan we wish to thank Alyson & Peter (Park Wardens)for making our stay most welcome, also in all the years of camping, we have never come across park wardens so freindly and helpful. On setting up,we found we had forgotten our hookup cable,no problem, they said, with that they lent us there own cable for the duration of our stay.which we were very grateful for.We found the site very pleasant and the veiws superb, the toilets and showers were kept very clean and in good order. There is a Launderette and games room on site, which are to be modernized, also there is a swimming pool and gym on the adjacent site, which can be used for a small fee, plus the Blagden Inn does meals, plus a carvery on Wednesday evenings and sunday lunchtime, and with a glorious coastline with Torquay,Paignton,Brixham, and Dartmouth not forgetting Paignton Zoo,So thank you to wardens Alyson & Peter for a wonderfull holiday. Mal & Jack.

Very impressed with park, kept very clean and tidy. Toilet / shower facilities very clean. Would recommend site to others. There is a lovely 15th century pub on the site next door, great food served. Paignton about 2.5 miles away from site. Really enjoyed our visit to this park :-)

on arrival to the park it was very nice and clean.when we had checked in we found that the pitch was too small for our van and i had specifically told them the size,we then had to wait while they contacted head office to find us an alternative pitch, which they did. once all set up we went exploring ,we then found that none of the facilities were no longer in service ie- swimming pool, launderette plus no shop very dissapointed. we took the kids swimming next door as told and then had to pay there as well as already paying for a site that had its own pool!. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE FOR SOME ONE TO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO TELL US THESSE IMPORTANT FACTORS.

Since writing the previous review, we have had to take the decision not to open the outdoor pool this year due to safety reasons. As a contingency, we have negotiated a Half Price discount for use of the indoor swimming and gym facilities at the sister park, Haulfryn Paignton: Heated indoor swimming, sauna, steam room and air conditioned gymnasium just 5 minutes wlak from your pitch. We look forward to welcoming you to Byslades International.

NEW FOR 2008.... Byslades was recently acquired by the Haulfryn Group who also run Paignton Holiday Park next door. There have been a couple of slight changes to the park which we would like you to be made aware of: The "3 Ducks" Pub will no longer be open for business, however, we have negotiated a special deal for Byslades Guests at our "Blagdon Inn" within walking distance of your pitch! 10% off all meals between 12.00 - 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Also, the swimmming pool is now to be lifeguarded, improving safety on the park, as well as some essential safety improvements to the playground. We would love to welcome you as a returning guest, or indeed as a new guest to the famous Byslades International Camping and Touring Park. PRICE FREEZE! We've kept the 2007 tariff, giving you even more value for money than ever before. Please book before arrival to avoid missing out on a fantastic holiday within easy reach of Totnes, Paignton, Torquay and Brixham. Booking enquiries: 01803 666930 Kind Regards Graham Lay, General Manager and the whole team at Haulfryn Paignton and Byslades International.

Good clean site; good bar, good breakfast in the 'diner'. The prices are all reasonable and the management seem to have made the effort not to 'rip' people off No problems and would recommend to others.

we have visited this site for many years now and seen site owners come and go the present owners we find are a very genuine family who strive to keep a clean and tidy site for familys to enjoy there stay they dont stand for any rowdyness at any price or familys who wont keep children under proper control, they dont have dogs on site till the kids have gone home after there summer break they dont encourage commercial vehicles towing caravans onto the site they dont encourage riff raff if you want a nice site give it a try

I made a booking at this site by phone speaking to a lady who was very nice & on arrival (3hrs drive later) i was told by a man that " i don't care who you spoke to your not camping here" i explained that my wife & two youngsters plus the dog where in the car, he just said "im the govnor now get lost" (i had to change the wording for the review reasons). This is disgusting behaviour for a campsite & have never had this experience before, i would not advise making a booking at this site incase you also have the same experience
