We would highly recommend The Angel String Quartet, as we were given many choices as to the style of music we wanted them to perform on the day. They were a really friendly bunch, and looked smart in their suits. The only thing I wanted, was to be able to take them on our honeymoon! We chose music from films we have seen recently, and The Angel String Quartet performed all of them for us at no extra cost. Very happy.

Similar to previous reviews of Angel String Quartet, we too would NOT recommend this outfit to play at your wedding or event. We continually asked when they would like the balance of payment a month before our wedding in August, they politely said they would email me with final details and how to pay the balance soon. We had also asked them to play a selection of songs of our choice which they had previously said they had no problem learning - none of our songs were played by the Quartet. We also receive a rather intimidating email on the eve of our wedding day with subject: DO YOU WANT ANGEL STRING QUARTET TO PLAY AT YOUR WEDDING. The email stated that if they did not have the balance in their account and cleared before the Wedding Day, then they would not be playing at our wedding. This was the day before our wedding! Caused a lot of anxiety, stress and running around the day before our Big Day. Disgusted with their intimidation and bullying tactics to get their final payment when i had been requesting how to pay the balance for some time in advance. They also kept saying that it was no problem to learn and play 10 of our own song choices but obviously hadn't bothered to learn any of them as none of them were played.
This really soured our dealing with this outfit as they caused so much hassle for us on the day before our Wedding Day.

We hired the Angel String Quartet 18 months prior to our weddong this August. They did not provide the agreed performances and only decided to tell us 2 days before the wedding whilst demanding payment the very same day - 'No pay, no play' even though we had paid a deposit at the time of booking and trying to charge us a lot more than we were originally quoted. The quartet we paid for ended uo being a trio which was not what we chose or paid for.
They have not provided us with any explanation when asked, they simply said do you want us or not. 2 days before our big day left us with no choice.
I would not reccomed this unprofessional service to anybody!
I am still waiting for a reply to my e-mails about this!
