We've been coming here for the past three years and have always found the staff helpful and friendly. The views are stunning. We've stayed in three different caravans on site and they were all modern, clean and comfortable. The site is well maintained and we would definitely recommend it.

Penhale Caravans are situated in a perfect position overlooking the sea towards Polkerris and the location in ideal for travelling around the Fowey area. Unfortunately we found the caravans and site were not well presented or cared for and generally looked quite tatty. The grass had not been cut and there has been very little effort put into shrubbery or planting. We also saw the odd glass bottle left lying around. The caravan we stayed in had old and worn out carpet and upholstery. Blinds were broken with mold growing on them. The window in the toilet would not close properly. Bits of trim were missing off the kitchen area We found the toaster had not been cleaned out and still contained the crumbs from the previous occupants. We also had electrical problems, had to keep re-lighting the pilot light and change our own gas bottle. We were unable to keep the floor clean as no vacuum or sweeper had been provided. Consequently I would not recommend this site and will not be paying a return visit.
