We were met at the gate by Les, I think he was worried about my parking. We had a delightful 3 night stay, with Hadrians Wall just a few minutes walk away. Food and hospitality were excellent, would go back and stay again.

This is a wonderful place to stay - having walked 15 miles of the wall, Les met us at the door with a pot of tea and a plate of biscuits. He is a great host, good cook of honest, tasty food and generally could not do enough for us. We didn't really want to leave, but the rest of the wall was calling and we had to walk! Our one night stay was a real highlight of the holiday.
