Good Points: Friendliness - I used to stay here many times, and have to say it had gone downhill through former ownerships, now back to how I remembered it. General review: Good to see it back to former standards.

An absolutely wonderful stay amongst very friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent served in this beautiful olde world charming hotel. The room was fresh and immaculate. Looking forward to a return visit very soon. Highly recommended.

Good Points: The staff were very friendly and organised Bad Points: The room was very basic and dated. The blankets on top of the bed sheets had several tears in them and looked very shabby. The bathroom was also very tired looking and very dark. There were also flies abour the breakfast room. General review: I think charging £95 for this room was very steep indeed. It definitely was not worth this amount of money.

"Service in hotel was excellent, nothing was a bother",nothing at all,"Hotel was a wonderful relaxing place and a superb venue for our 20th wedding anniversary break, the hotel was spotles and the room we had was lovely and the most comfortable we have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. The food was excellent and you could not fault either the quality or quantity, and the staff were allways plesant and charming, would definately infact make that will be definately going back again."
