I pre-booked a room for my parents as a Valentines Day suprise.
Although they enjoyed the visit the hotel charged my card twice and after 3 months I am still waiting for a refund to be made and I'm now not even receiving a reply to my emails.
The manager Tony promised to issue the refund on the same day over a month ago. I'm now pursuing this with my credit card company.
Awful service.

the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room ideal.,none come to mind except the TV reception was poor - I'm sure that could easily be rectified,For a 2 star hotel I thought the Clifton Bridge Hotel in York was very good. Admittedly it was out of season - the real test would have been at the height of Summer.
