My wife and i won a free meal for 2 here and we felt slightly under dressed and overwhelmed. The service food and the house as a whole was exceptional. Ive never tasted food like it - sometimes i didnt know what id eaten, only that i loved it. a truely magnificent experience.

We live in Croydon and drive down to this hotel just for one night because we love it. It is set in the middle of the new forest (quite hard to find mind) We sit in the bar facing a long pond with fountains, chose our meal and are taken to the restaurant which is beautiful. The food is almost nevou cuisine. It will probably something you will never try anywhere else. The rooms have a large plasma screen and a dvd player. The do not distrurb sign is a toy stuffed pony. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is Excellant. The web site in this case is true to form.

Setting, attention to detail in the refurbishment and development of the property Organisation of breakfast....showing to table, taking order. When booking an hotel for a special one-night stay, one is always worried whether the website description and photos really are representative. In our case, the promises were high and the reality even better. Our room was of the most basic type in the hotel and was outstanding...large (not huge) but exteremely comfortable. Service, furnishings, gardens were all of the highest quality. And if the weather is good bring a blanket and organise a luxurious picnic lunch to make the most of the magnificent grounds!
