Good Points: Location Dinner and breakfast was very good Bad Points: Filthy shower curtain (carefully folded in the hope we would not notice. Cost of drinks (particularly wine) is not in keepng with thequality of the hotel. Booked Strawberrys and Champagne break but they were not delivered together. Hotel information was very limited - e.g. what was included in half board menu just says a £30 allowance - doesn't mention that is food only so if you don't spend £60 on food the balance was forfeit. General review: The hotel does not live up to the expectation from the information provided on the website.

Good Points: First rate spacious accomodation, well furnished, large comfortable bed. Very well appointed bathroom with good plumbing. Warm and clean General review: An overnight stay only but very comfortable. The hotel is well appointed and has very pleasant grounds in attractive countryside but very close to Basingstoke. The accomodation and staff were very good. The dinner was mediocre and a bit expensive for what it was but the breakfast was very good. I would certainly stay there again in in this area. Given discounted internet rates the price was very reasonable.
