Having travelled for 3hrs to get to the store I was greeted with the statement that I was in the wrong place and should have received an e mail and 'phone message tellin me this (off course I didn't get them because they were never sent and I was never called).
I was ignored for a while and then given a handrawn map and told to get on the tube and to go to the next stop and walk to the studio where I would meet the designer to discuss my ideas for making my dress. What I wasn't told was that the studio was at least 45mins walk from the sation. There I was in an area I didn't know wandering from street to street on a bitterly cold day. I called the shop to see if they could help me with directions and they never called me back. I finally by default found the studio only to be told by the designer that I was too late and she had another appointment arriving in a few minutes. By this time I was so upset I couldn't think about my dress and so I just had to turn around and go back to the station.
Just as I was about to start my 45min journey back to the designer showed me a short-cut which took me back to the station in under 15mins. Why if the shop uses this designer a lot didn't they describe this short-cut instead of sending me the long, long,long way round!
When I called the shop to complain about my treatment and poor service all the member of staff said was that they had called me and I must also have failed to get their e mail. I found it strange as there were no missed calls, no voice messages and no emails - so someone here is not telling the truth (I wonder who). Even with the offer of a discount because of the poor service I would NEVER, NEVER,NEVER, EVER return to this shop again.
DON'T GO. Try reading other reviews and you will see I am not alone in my experience of a terrible time with this shop.
