Today my husband and I travelled 85 miles to visit the Ambleside Flower Show....what a disappointment and utter disgrace this was. Copious amount of motorway signs and posters advertising this event are a complete con, how it can be advertised as a 'flower show' when it was approximately a 20ft square room with tables and a small display of flowers, various types of daffodils forming part of the 'flower show'. To call an event a flower show, one would assume to see something similar to Tatton Park or Southport Flower Show, albeit on a smaller scale, but not something which is a 'village' flower competition. It cost £4.00 for entry and we were in the room less than 4 minutes. Please feel free to explain how you're able to inform the public that you are holding a flower show when it is nowhere near anything like it. It is just aswell my husband and I enjoy visiting Ambleside otherwise our visit would have ruined a perfectly beautiful day. My advice to readers of this review "DO NOT BE CONNED - THERE IS NO FLOWER SHOW"!!!!!
