If I was asked to describe the Brown Trout and our brief visit in one word, it would simply be "Outstanding". The rooms are very clean and large, the food was of a very high standard and the Staff are more than happy to see to your every need.
I would be more than happy to recommend the Brown Trout to any of my friends and family.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
There was really heavy smoking at the hotel and the room and hotel in general seemed yellowed by smoke. I would make it non-smoking.
The rooms were adequate but quite dated. The tap in the bath would not work and we had to fill it using the showerhead! The beds were clean but the net curtains and general 70s feel of the room spoiled it a bit.
