I took my daughter and grandchildren (twins aged 4) to this event in August 2008, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day out. The setting is fabulous with a Castle as backdrop to all the colourful tents and camps of medieval living history, and there was always something happening to keep the children fascinated. They were particularly taken with the juggler, Devil Stick Peat. A very nice touch was having a mistress of ceremonies to keep everyone informed as to what was happening. I would happily go again this year.
