visited this hotel on the 31st December 2009 for a meal. The food was average, mostly out of a freezer and the menu did not reflect the product. An example of this is prawns in filo pastry, the prawns arrived in breadcrumbs and looked like a frozen product. some of our party ordered steak, they were told 10 minutes after ordering that steak was not available as it was not good quality. the Waiter returned again and said all was ok and steak was available. When the main course arrived only 1 steak arrived and the waiter did not know if it was rare or med/well done. We had to cut the steak to find out. one of our party then had no food but was given chicken!! As one customer at another table said, this place is just like Fawlty Towers. May I suggest a visit from Gordon Ramsay to teach the chef's how to cook and the waiting staff some customer service. A disgrace to charge £25 per person for a very average meal with the worst service I have ever had.
