I have lived in chepstow all my life and have never been to the wye knot for a meal out, a few people had said it was quite nice so my partner and i decided to try it out. I would rate this resturant 2 out of 10 and thats being nice. The service was appalling knowbody seemed to know what was going on. The food was ok, we both ordered steak with pepper sauce, this came with no veg and potatoes just a plate with steak and sauce. It was not a nice setting, food was average, staff didnt have a clue and prices too high, i would not reccomend the wye knot chepstow is a lovely town with some really great resturants this NOT being one of them!
