My wife and I found this place by mistake, we were planning to eat at Hurst House in Laugharne but this place is still under going a major refurb. The Cors was recommended to us by Hurst House. On our arrival we decided to sit in the bar area and start our evening with Vodka and Lemonaide and a G&T. When the menu was brought to our table we were astonished by the range of food on offer. Both my wife and I started with Salmon served on a potato pancake......ummmmm! For main I had the Black Beef Filet cooked to perfection at medium, I must say that thiswas a proper filet and not a small piece of meet that looks lost on the plate. My wife had the rack of salt marsh lamb which was very very nice indeed. This was all washed down with a fine bottle (or 4 if I remember correctly) of Chatinuff de pape (Excuse the spelling but I'm sure you all know what I mean). After the meal Nick the owner, chef and gardener came into the bar and introduced himself.He seems to be one of the most sincere men I have met, a true gentleman. Nick basically lets us eat in his house, I have never been to a place qute like it. Magical, romantic, warm, cosy, the eating room had a bit of a gothic feel to it....I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to anyone. Go and have a great time with great food and wine.
