Travelling moves closer to home in 2008 as explorers become more concerned with reducing air miles and eco issues. For the British, as with many countries, an awakening of it’s onshore treasures is long overdue. One of our British gems nestling in Hertfordshire is Sopwell House, less than an hour from London, it was Formerly the Georgian country home of Lord Mountbatten. A four star offering, Sopwell House, set in twelve acres, is a hotel hideaway that exudes comfortable British charm, coupled with modern touches that include a gym equipped to high standards, to receive it’s regular football sporting stars and a spa featuring ESPA products for super-luxe blissful moments.
