We stayed here 2 nights and wish we could stay for longer. If you are looking for somewhere to go with your dog/s this is THE place! There was a mixture of dogs staying and many owners/dogs stayed on a regular basis. We wished we had ours with us, but will definately return with them. Very welcoming landlord/lady who socialised with us and other guests during the evenings. Comfortable spacious room, clean and tidy. Relaxing bar with good ales and leather Chesterfields, bookcases and boardgames. Food was excellent - best full English breakfast we have ever had!!! Good value dinner, all local produce, including local cheeses for the cheeseboard. Set in the middle of Darmoor, perfect for walking. A great little 'get away' place.
