When we arrived, Gwen was really nice and friendly - gave us some handy information about the area, different walks, places to eat and how to get into the village centre (which is REALLY close). The rooms are nicely decorated and a good size. They are also really quite, and if the window is closed, you can't hear the brook outside! TV with a dvd player in the rooms, and a list of dvds that they have downstairs as well. Breakfast was lovely, nice range and the cooked breakfasts were hot and really well cooked. If I was going to stay in Windermere again, or if someone I knew was, I would definately recommend this B&B.
