I visited the Garden of the Roses with my family. I am sorry to say that none of us enjoyed the visit other than appreciate the concept. I had called the tel no to enquire, only to hear a pre-recorded message. This meant I could not get the information I needed to know if it was actually a good day to visit to see the Roses. I am disappointed that I only got to know that it was in fact not the best of the days if one hoped to see any flowers only on purchasing the entrance tickets after having travelled quiet a distance.. The roses were few and sparse with most of them withering away.. All in all quiet disappointing and upsetting. I hope the management could have someone attend to the telephone on every day that they are open and collect an entrance fee. It would be helpful if informtion on the flowering status of the garden was also indicated on either the website or on site for public to be able to make an informed decision rather than be disappointed. I appreciate there could always be a wider section of the public who may not share my views. Dilraj
