Good Points: Our room was well appointed, very clean, with lovely views. Bad Points: Fresh flowers would enhance the appeal, but that is rather picky. General Review: A most enjoyable stay and we will definitely return. Our room was in the original part of the house and had character. I would like to sample a larger room , again in the original part of the house. The food was excellent, well prepared and presented and very courteously served. One small point, preserves at breakfast were in small plastic containers which detracted from the otherwise first class meal, preserves in glass jars would be far preferable. Overall an excellent experience.

Good Points: Peaceful and clean Bad Points: Later breakfasts. Beakfast finished at 9: 30 on a Sunday. It was nice to have an option for a lie in! General Review: It was a lovely hotel in a lovely location. The evening meal was excellent as was the service. I was just a little disappointed that breakfast finished at 9: 30. We were having a break from a young child who traditionally wakes early on a Sunday so thought it was an option for a lie in. We werenÂ't going to set an alarm to get up at 8: 30 to ensure we were both ready for breakfast by then so we missed out on a breakfast we had paid for.
