I am a Preston season ticket holder along with my wife. My sister and brother-in-law are Preston fans who now live in Surry. When we can we like to visit them and combine it with a Preston away game. We were going to watch Preston play at QPR on Saturday until we found out that 4 tickets will cost £120. We are no longer going to go. When will clubs stop trying to rip off fans?, I am being turned from a fan of football to hating the greed around it. If tickets had been £20 we would have gone. Instead the greed of QPR has stopped us from attending this game and we will never visit QPR again. Is £80 not better than NOT getting £120? Is the aim of football clubs to get rid of fans because that is what it seems like to me? I can afford £30 but will not pay out of principle (along with tens of thousands of fans every week) You have to sort this out before teams are only supported by TV fans of the top 4 clubs and based on these prices, who can blame people from staying away.
