Good Points: Bar food and breakfast very good Bad Points: bedrooms and corridor areas very tired and in need of refurbishment General review: OK, but fresher, newer hotels are available at a cheaper price.

Good Points: It was comfortable and clean with all the amenities needed Bad Points: It was far too hot with very little proper ventilation through the one opening window and no in room thermostat. General Review: The drinks in the bar were rather expensive and the meals were of adequate quality but also expensive compared to other establishments. However, due to the location it was the obvious choice as it was very close to the area I needed to visit in the course of business.

Good Points: Comfy bed, good pillows, good evening meal Bad Points: Damp smell in corridor, very hot room (flat roof), hot breakfast dried out (9am), jaded decor General Review: I was a little disappoointed for the reasons above. The bedroom was no better than a 'budget' hotel, but cost more. The hotel seems to have deteriorated since it was a Moat House.
