I did not stay at the hotel, but I did attend a function there on the above date. The service was appalling, not enough staff to serve the "barbaqued food", which was rather cool instead of hot. The pudding course ran out before everyone was served, we ended up with a cold fruit salad.I stood in a queue for 50 minutes for this pleasure,There was one barman for a total of 250 guests in the party area, so went up to the main reception area bar, and again one barmaid and plenty of waiting around.The room was not adequate for the event, in fact the whole thing was a shambles
