It is a beautiful hotel with lovely facilities but beware if you have booked a room with an inland view as you pay £140 to listen to a private party going on in the function room. I expect hotels to have parties but £140 is too much to pay for a room where I could hear the song words and people chatting outside our window. The hotel should make it clear when booking, reduce the room rate or move the function room. The weather was nice but it will be even hotter in the summer so more doors and windows will be left open during that season.
