I wholeheartedly agree with the above review in terms of the cleanliness of this property. This property is also in need of a major refurbishment and redecoration as it is very shabby and dated. The bathrooms both have mouldy tiles and the upstairs bathroom also has a mouldy shower curtain. Our dog found a baby bel wrapper under the sofa within minutes (goodness knows what else is there). One of the double bedrooms had a distinctly fishy smell all week? The beds were uncomfortable. I loved Northumbria but was desperate to go home to a clean house and comfortable bed. The property looked out onto a wall and in the kitchen you look directly into a neighbouring property's living room and upstairs looks into the beer garden of the Masons Arms.

A nice enough house if it had of been cleaner. There was plenty of dog hair on the rug and the bathrooms were far from spotless. The kitchen was a bit back packer, all a bit old and grubby. When a childs toy rolled under the sofa we found plenty of hairballs and old food as well as the toy. The house is situated directly behind the local shops so expect a sing-a-long from the bakery about 5.30 each morning. I recommend you sleep with the windows closed in the main bedroom. I would rate this as a 3 star property at the very most.
