Review of Birkenhead by carol mason on May 17th, 2009
The summer palace is the best chinese resturant I have been to apart from chloes in paphos which it is equal to beautifully tasting meals, fantastic service set in authentic chinese furnishings (clean). I would recommend the summer palace to anyone.

Port Sunlight, Merseyside

Review of Port Sunlight by carol darlington on January 12th, 2010
Did you know there is a fantastic Port Sunlight Museum to visit when you arrive in the village. Head there on arrival, visit the interactive museum and pick up a village trail so you can explore the village in depth. Monuments, statues, refreshment venues, a beautiful Church and not forgetting the outstanding Lady Lever Art Gallery, the village is a full day out, full of culture, history and relaxation.

Southport, Merseyside

Review of Southport by Patricia Ann North on August 28th, 2007
Having been on a day visit on bank holiday monday to your beautiful town and lovely beaches with my 2 grandaughters,we were very concerned about the condition of Pleasureland. It seems like an accident waiting to happen, the rides are all propped up with blocks of wood and bricks and the filth everywhere is disgusting.Suffice to say we did not let our grandaughters anywhere near the rides. What a great dissapointment to them and us remembering how it use to be.A very sad end to an otherwise lovely day. As Much I admire the work that has been done outside Marks&Spencer's Boots Woolworth's to name but a few. It is very nice to be able to walk in safety within this area. the problem you only allow space for three disabled drivers in Tulketh Street. I note that at the moment the supermarket is closed down, and I am also aware there is reasonable low cost parking above it,but many disabled persons fine it hard going climbing up and down the steps. the street is mostly empty during the day, because of the double yellow line, and the yellow markings coming down the kerb. I would be nice if you considered allowing parking for the disabled drivers while the store is not in use, and also for the future make more disabled bays available. I feel sure that all of the left hand side of Tulketh street is needed for taxi parking only. It would be nice if considered Disabled and senior citizens, and make it easier for them to do there shopping, and make use of the amenities in the said area. Kind Regards
