Review of St Lawrence by angie falle on April 30th, 2009
I am very ashamed to say that I have not visited hamptonne country life museum before this year and what a real treat it is! A beautiful house and grounds and fantastic cafe selling all home made food and local cidre.All the staff including the girls in the cafe were lovely.What a treat it was on a lovely sunny day to spend it here.
It is a shame that holiday makers I met there felt that the bus dropped them too far away and that they felt there was not enough things going on to see once they were inside and only a few animals for the kids to see.
So as a local I feel that if they had a hopper bus to and from Hamtonne that ran regular hours this would get many more paying guests in to the site and may be that would generate income to increase attractions to see in the house and grounds!Well done to all who work there it's a fantastic place to visit I will be a regular from now on. If you'r Jersey, support your Heritage and visit Hamptonne you'll be in for a treat
