Charlestown, Cornwall

Review of Charlestown by Stephen Kearsey on March 18th, 2010
My wife, my sister and I visited Charlestown in June 2008. We had booked a canal-boat week but the floods obliterated the canals and the owners could not locate the canal-boat. As a consequence we visited Cornwall and Charlestown and more specifically, Charlie's Coffee House (we hope that it still exists. We were delighted with the greeting, the service, the freshly baked scones, delicious coffee and then the owner gave us a copy of an Eva Cassidy CD that he had been playing gently in the background and we had commented on how we had enjoyed the music. Throughout our 3 week trip we had not experienced such warm hospitality, excellent food and coffee and we wish the owners evry success.
