Review of Wootton Bassett by Valerie Reed on September 29th, 2008
Used to live in W.Bassett in1980-1985 and have recently visited on 2 occasions. Good to see some of the recent developments in the High Street. However the lack of dining facilities in the town on a Saturday evening rather lets the town down. We did have a nice meal earlier in the day on the Friday at Delicia's which I believe has only recently opened. Well done to them they deserve to prosper and will be an asset to the town. We were able to fall back on the long established Sally Pussey's Inn as fortunately we had our own transport. Fond memories of the town and enjoyed re aquainting myself with it.
