The little village of Isley Walton enjoys a convenient location with East Midlands Airport just a couple of miles away, the Donington Park racing circuit on its doorstep, and lovely Melbourne Hall in easy reach too.

Leicester, Leicestershire

Review of Leicester by Terry Plant on November 14th, 2006
I travelled to Leicester many years ago and loved it. Some locals looked after me and took me to the Dog and Gun pub. The locals were the Dilks family. There names were Jenny and John. I would love to make contact with them again. If you can help with this, please email me at the above address. Thank you Terry Plant

Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire

Review of Melton Mowbray by Mrs Player on May 3rd, 2007
The prices of parking are a joke in melton. I would strongly advise a reduction as i would not attend your Market when other towns who have markets are far cheaper,i would also not recomend people to visit as the parking is a joke at £5 plus for the day.

Middleton, Leicestershire

Review of Middleton by Carl Stasiak on May 1st, 2007
Middleton is a quiet village on the edge of the green and lush Welland Valley. The pretty houses and cottages are mainly built of the local Weldon ironstone with its warm amber glow. There are 3 pubs and a small hotel located within easy walking distance where you can sit in their gardens or have a meal. Cottingham is also a village attached to Middleton making one large village. Both are quiet and peaceful with the odd horse or tractor passing through. There are 3 bed & breakfasts in Middleton and 2 in Cottingham all with reasonable rates for the passing traveller or tourist.
