Review of Chiswick by harry on February 1st, 2006
Chiswick is a really nice place to live with absolutely loads of restaurants, proper shops, pubs and bars. The High Road is always a hive of activity with a multi nationality population and masses of families. Away from the centre is largely residential and very upmarket and towards the river is Chiswick Park/House & Grounds (or whatever its called) which is a fantastic oasis in this congested part of town. This stretch of river is very historic and therefore picturesque in places alongside wild nature reserve and smart modern developments. All in all a great place to visit with a true village feel
