We were the first in the UK to host a chocolate festival, other towns and
cities have now followed suit!
Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival is the original annual event which always falls the week before Easter. In 2012 we won the Manchester Tourism Award for 'Best Small Event' attracting
over 25,000 visitors to the Festival.
There's always lots to see and do including a two day chocolate market, alfresco dining, beer tent, "unplugged" acoustic music sets,
children's craft sessions, face painting, free creche and buggy park, mini
farm, donkeys, hawks owls PLUS a fun and interactive demonstration of the
processes involved in making your delicious chocolate bars.
We strongly recommend that you use our park and ride facility at Woodhey High School (£2 per car), for a hassle free experience. Shuttle
buses run all day throughout the weekend first one leaving 10am and last
returning 4.30pm.
