Every year Clun celebrates the Spring Bank Holiday with its unique Green Man Festival. With live music, storytelling, street theatre and more over the course of the weekend, the main event is Monday's procession and spectacular Battle on the Bridge - the Green Man must defeat the Frost Queen for Spring
to come to the Clun Valley - followed by a traditional May Fair in the castle grounds.
Browse craft stalls, watch artisans work and enjoy medieval sword fighting, maypole dancing, circus acts, folk music, duck racing
(adults £3, kids £1, under 5s free). Food stalls, tea tent/beer tent on site.
