for Boxford Gardens Open as your favourite British event.

Come and enjoy a great day out for all the family in the beautiful villages of Boxford and neighbouring Edwardstone.

There will be more than 20 gardens to explore - large and small and of many different types - cottage, courtyard, riverside and contemporary to name but a few. There are many new gardens open every year.

A free shuttle bus will operate to the outlying gardens in the afternoon. Coffee will be served from 10.30am and ploughman's lunches, cakes and cream teas will be available in the village hall. There will be plant and cake stalls around the church and the church tower will be open to climb for spectacular views.

Buy a ticket on the day (£4 per adult, children free) from the ticket desk at the church or at the first red, white and blue ‘Gardens Open’ sign you come to. Parking is available at the Playing Fields off Swan Street – follow the signs as you enter the village.

All proceeds from the day will benefit a local charity. For further information contact the organiser Angela Tolputt on 01787 212264 or email angela@tolputt.com
