for Melton Mowbray Country Fair as your favourite British event.

A traditional country fair held in the wonderful setting of the Town Estates Parks in the centre of Melton Mowbray - the "Rural Capital of Food".
Celebrate the countryside past and present with local food, arts and crafts, music, livestock, entertainment and numerous activities including our "Green and Growing" environmental area with energy saving ideas for the future.
If you are a keen baker, take part in our annual "Melton BIG BAKE" a traditional baking competition or make your own bread in our woodfired ovens.
Dog owners will find many doggy activities including a novelty dog show and flyball racing. Our rural craft demonstrations grow year after year with thatching, spinning, willow work and lacemaking to name just a few, with food lovers able to find out how to make sausages, keep chickens, grow their own veg or pluck a pigeon for the pot.
