The McManus Collections Unit is the new permanent home for the City's History, Archaeology and Natural History Collections. The relocation of these Collections to this facility frees up more space in the McManus Galleries & Museum in Albert Square, for improved exhibition and visitor facilities. The Museum is currently closed to undergo an exciting and extensive refurbishment project and will open early 2010.

Come along for a fascinating 'behind-the-scenes' glimpse of these Collections, with our entertaining tour guides. Admission Free, but booking essential. Tel (01382) 432364 (Mon to Fri between 9am & 4.30pm). www.mcmanus.co.uk

Fri 7 & Sat 8 Aug, Fri 21 & Sat 22 Aug, Fri 4 & Sat 5 Sept. Tours at 11am & 2pm. 01382 432364.
