Your chance to visit studios,galleries,houses.closes and sheds in Scotland's Artists' Town to talk with artists and makers plus take part in demonstations.

Kirkcudbright, Scotland's Artists' Town has much to offer. Whether you are especially travelling a distance to see us, find us by chance or live in the area, we are sure you will enjoy walking around the town. This rewarding event will take you into the hidden creative studios and homes not normally open to the public where you will be able to meet with and talk to the artists and craftmakers. You will also find a number of galleries taking part in the trail as well as shops, places of interest and friendly people to meet. The trail has been fashioned to be enjoyed with all the senses. Workshops and demonstrations where you can have a go, inspiriring photographic opportunities, with music and refreshments. Best of all, a chance to buy and original piece of art. So take the trail and enjoy a great day out in the artists' colony of today!

Brochures with Trail Map widely available for free. 1st 2nd 3rd August (with some venues also open on 4th) 2008. 11am to 5pm. All events in and around Kirkcudbright.
