One of the few really traditional Highland Games still left, with a fabulous setting by the river South Esk and in the shade of the historic
Cortachy Castle. The Games themselves are great fun for the family, and the children's races are open to anyone on the day so its more than just a spectator family day.
The flower show is of remarkable diversity and standard, and this is enhanced by the industrial section, where jars of jam and clootie dumplings compete for space with photo competition and shepherds' crooks, made with loving care.
