for The 10th Althorp Literary Festival as your favourite British event.

Over the years the event's reputation has grown and grown. Authors who have spoken include: Boris Johnson, Sebastian Faulks, Alastair Campbell, Jeremy Vine, Twiggy, Ronnie Corbett and Simon Schama, amongst many other household names.
The popularity of the festival can be summed up by Bill Bryson & Fay Weldon, who both chose the Althorp Literary Festival as their global favourite in a British Airways 'High Life' magazine survey in 2010.
"We came away totally stimulated, especially in the context of such a beautiful house and grounds." (Festival Attendee) The 2013 Althorp Literary Festival promises to be a magical few days of literature, laughter and music, all taking place in the inspiring setting of one of England's best loved historic homes. The programme is well under way and we are delighted to announce that high profile authors who have already signed up to speak include: Lady Antonia Fraser & Artemis Cooper.
The full programme for 2013 will be published in due course, with tickets available from late March onwards from www.spencerofalthorp.com
