for Suffolk Open Studios Art Exhibition as your favourite British event.

Exhibits range from water colours and oil paintings, sculptures, wood carvings, drawings and prints, photography and jewellery, ceramics and glassware, through to textiles and mixed media.

Independent judges will select the best exhibit and a prize will be presented to the winner.

Visitors can collect a free copy of the SOS full colour pocket directory which gives full details of each member and their particular type of work. Take your time to view the exhibits, identifying and highlighting those that particularly attract or inspire you. Then mark out those artists you would like to visit during June when they will open their studios. Here is your chance to see where they get their ideas from and to ask them about their creations. And if you wish, you can also pick up an original piece of artwork to treasure. Full details of times when individual studios will be open along with their locations and contact details appear in the SOS Directory.

Blackthorpe Barn has ample free parking, a café and disabled access.
