for Open Air Theatre as your favourite British event.

The Illyria Theatre Company celebrates its open air season performing William Shakespeare performed on a stage inspired by those of the medieval touring troupes.

Many companies offer open-air Shakespeare, but only Illyria has won 4 international awards for performing Shakespeare.

The event is staged in front of the dramatically stunning backdrop of Cawdor Castle, where the audience are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy the performance on the front lawn. Seating is not provided so please bring a picnic chair or rug and warm/wet weather clothing. Cancellation will be in the event of a hurricane only when the performance will be rescheduled.

For tickets please call the Cawdor Castle office on 01667 404401. There will also be tickets on sale on the night.
