Born 1621. Died 1695 - Welsh religious poet.



Studied at Jesus College, Oxford. Took his MD and practised as a physician. In 1650 printed a volume of mystical and religious poems. In 1651 a further collection was published without his authority by his twin brother. Also wrote prose, a collection of elegies, translations and religious pieces.
