Attracted public attention editing six editions of the controversial magazine Wheels and the first volume of her poetry Façade (1923). Known for her work and support she gave to other artists. Her work during WWII included Street Songs (1942) and The Song of the Cold (1945). Autobiography was published posthumously in 1965.
