Born 1920 - English cartoonist, painter and author.

Studied at Cambridge School of Art. Drew first cartoon for Cambridge Daily News in 1935. Prisoner of war for three years, published sketches he made in Changi Camp. Staff theatrical caricaturist for Punch. Moved to Paris. First foreign artist to exhibit at Bibliotheque Nationale. Designed animated films and titles for feature films.
