Died on 29th of June 1855

Born 1788. Died 1855 - English field marshal.

Fought at Waterloo (1825) losing his sword arm. Became MP for Truro, created a peer in 1852. Headed an expeditionary force in Crimea, gave the order that led to the Charge of the Light Brigade (1854). Died shortly before the storming of Sebastopol. The raglan overcoat is named after him.
