Pseudonym of Michael O’Donovan. Wrote plays and literary criticism but best known for his short stories. Titles include Guests of the Nation (1931), Crab Apple Jelly (1944), Travellers’ Samples (1956) and My Oedipus Complex (1963). Also wrote his memoirs, translations of Irish verse, a novel and a biography of Michael Collins.
